Porter Flea Market 2019 Faves

It’s that time of year again, #PFSummer19 time!! The Porter Flea Market is a semi-annual market that showcases handmade goods and products, most of which is being crafted right here in Nashville. PF is a two-day market, hosted in the Winter and Summer. It is hosted right on the Nashville Fairgrounds, a common playground for those of you that take on the monthly Nashville Flea Market. Generally, the Friday PF Market day is a “Preview Market,” so you must pre-purchase a ticket, but you get in on all the early action, deals, and freebies! The second day, Saturday is Free admission...which means long lines...but free entry!

We’ve experienced the beauty of the Porter Flea Market several times, but this time we wanted to write about our experience, and of course, our favorite vendors!

PrissyEm:

Disco central! Ash bought a cute candle that will be used as a housewarming gift--fun fact, once the candle has melted down it can be turned into a small bowl! PrissyEm’s disco ball fun can be used as a punch bowl, planter, dog dishes, ice buckets, a party centerpiece, and really just anything you can think of. Did we mention that Nic is PrissyEm’s Disco Princess, and helps with any and all glittery needs?!

Fluff Gourmet Cotton Candy:

Yummy Yummy, in my tummy! Cotton Candy in sooo many flavors. Buying up one of these cloud-like tubs can turn an ordinary day into a fun day. You can eat completely guilt free as it’s all gluten free, vegan, and organic.

Camp Craft Cocktails:

As if you needed any more reason to have a cocktail, drinking just got a lot more fun with a Camp Craft Cocktail in tow. With a list of options, fresh ingredients are used to elevate your bartending, and you only have three jobs. Pick your poison (we’re vodka girls) and pour half a bottle into your jar, let it sit in the fridge for 3 days, and drink up after mixing it with your choice of juice or soda (we’d go for ginger beer and make it into a mule).

Paris Woodhull Illustrations:

We were stunned by these graphics and prints when we walked by. Ash is still upset that she left without buying a “Feminist AF” tee, but Nic walked home with an ADORABLE Frida Kahlo print to add to her collection. But honestly, every single one of them were so cute don’t be surprised if we grab 3 or 4 more and a tee the next time we see her.

Hey Mavens:

Want some fabulous lingerie?! Then this is the place to be. Hey Mavens is elevating bras and undies to be more comfortable and with the cutest of patterns. The best part? Every single thing is handmade. We’re not sure which set we like best, but the boob pattern and the pizza pattern are some of our favorites.

Moxie & Row:

Nic spotted this booth from a mile away. Packed full of female empowerment tees, stickers, and buttons. The booth was pretty and pink, but the products being sold were also fierce and bold. Everything was absolutely stunning and Nic even grabbed a beautiful silky heart patterned headband.

We saw so much that we loved, and there were not enough hours in the day or dollars in our pockets to check out each and every vendor that caught our eye. LUCKILY, this lovely market comes around twice a year! So mark your calendars for December 13th and 14th for the Holiday Market that will be here right around the corner.

We’ll be back to check out and buy even more jewelry, tees, prints, skin products, candles, jars, sweets, and so much more!! Love you Porter Flea, see you real soon. Thanks for reading along with us, give some love to these vendors that we loved, and hopefully we will see you around for the Holiday PF Market! Wait and see what we’ll do next.
