New Nash Talent: PrissyEm

It has OFFICIALLY been 9 months of Nic being a Disco Princess aka the assistant to the coolest boss, friend, and lady around. Emily Harrington is the face behind the balls, and we absolutely love everything about her. Today is her day--her 34th birthday to be in fact. And we want to use the post to showcase her AND her craft.

PrissyEm is a combination of the dynamic pet-owner combo that is Prissy and Emily, she's the sweetest, most high-maintenance inspiration behind Emily’s work. Emily has traveled all over, living in Louisiana, California, and her new home in Nashville, Tennessee. We are happy to have her here as she brings a new element of glitter and sparkles to this city. Emily transforms disco balls and elevates them--and yes it is possible! Taking a typical dance floor decoration, they are now an everyday house decoration or a party showstopper, Nic even keeps on her office desk!

 

From a hanging decoration, Emily takes them, works her magic, and creates them into punch bowls, planters, bowls and dishes, candles, and really anything that you can imagine. The disco balls vary in size from 4”-12”, and even bigger if you request it custom-made. All of her disco balls cut open and hand-painted to beautiful, bright colors, vibrant sparkles, and patterns and designs too. Her work has been featured in “Garden & Gun” Magazine, and gifted to Kasey Musgraves of course!

By day Emily is your typical city worker, grinding the 9-5 downtown, but by night and weekends she is making and creating, and popping up at some of the biggest and coolest markets in Nashville. 

Aside from all the glitz and glam that Emily puts in her work, the real standout of PrissyEm is Emily, herself. She puts her all into everything that she does, whether this be 2AM, 3AM, and 4AM potty breaks that Prissy requires, and customizing disco balls unique to each and every request. All while holding a glass of champagne in hand (her favorite). She’s thoughtful and sweet, kind and considerate, fiery and fierce, and we are so glad to have her in our lives!!
