Pick of the Patch Events this Season

The temperature is dropping, and we could not be any happier. This cool weather calls for apple cider & pumpkin picking dressed in your sweaters and scarves. The changing of the leaves, the Halloween movies, and of course, pumpkin spice make for the best season ever. Nashville is no stranger to this, and we want to share with YOU some of the fun fall events coming up!

Nashville Oktoberfest
Thursday, October 10th - Sunday, October 13th
Bi-Centennial Mall

This weekend event is the hottest Germantown event of the year. It takes over 10 blocks of the city, celebrating the iconic German festival.Admission is free, and fun for all ages--especially those that can partake in the beer drinking. Besides the beer steins you can: watch a weiner dog race, join in on the 5K bier run, eat your weight in schnitzels, watch a bratwurst eating contest, and listen to like German music. This is a fun community event in the city and you do not want to miss out on it!


Hocus Pocus Movie Night
Thursday, October 17th at 6PM
100 Taylor Arts Collective

You all know the iconic spooky movie. The Germantown movie night group is hosting this special screening. Overton Arts and ExtraOrdinary Oracle will be present for all your tarot & witchy needs. Popcorn and drinks will be available, it’s free and fun for the entire family!


Light the Nations Market
Saturday, October 19th at 2PM
51st Avenue

This 4th annual event is a community favorite, they literally light up the nations with their luminary bags. There’s two live music stages plenty of arts and crafts, fire dancers, vendors, trivia fun, and s’more stations. What more do you need on a cool fall night?! Maybe some princesses and hockey?! Because the Wishes Foundation Princesses and Predators Energy team will also be present at the event.
The Great Golden Gathering 
Sunday, October 20th at 1PM
Edwin Warner Park

Golden Retrievers are taking over the city, as ‘Adopt A Golden Nashville’ hosts their annual fundraiser. There is a ticket donation of $7 in advance, or $10 at the event, and all proceeds go towards medical treatment for golden orphans!! Help these dogs find their forever home by coming out and supporting our favorite 4-legged friends. There will be arts & crafts, vendors, and of course, puppies!


Full Moon Market

This is not for the average ghouls. This market is full of magical vendors that love Halloween spirit. It’s sure to be a good time if you love to take part in the holiday spirit. This is not a typical market, you will find things to be a bit more spooky here!


All Treats, No Tricks Halloween Party

Molly Green East

They had us at Molly Green. But throw in a swag bag (only for the first 50 guests!!), goodies, and a costume contest?! We are so there, and we hope you are too. Molly Green has the cutest, comfiest, funkiest clothing around, and they throw a good party as well. Some amazing girl-boss vendors will be set up in shop partaking in the fun too.


El Dia de los Muertos Festival

Cheekwood Botanical Garden

It’s the event we’ve been waiting all year for--Cheekwood’s annual Day of the Dead Festival. The garden grounds are covered in art displays, music and dance ceremonies, food and vendors. We always have a blast at this event, there is always so much to do and see at Cheekwood, and this festival definitely adds to the fun of it all. It is a must-see this year if you haven’t been yet!


Live. Life. Love: Concert

Municipal Auditorium

107.5 The River is always one of our most listened to radio stations. And this is one of the biggest reasons why. The River partners with “To Write Love on Her Arms” an organization that focuses on national suicide prevention. The goal of this annual concert is to create awareness and raise funds for this organization. Such a great cause with an equally great set list of artists that they bring in. This year is the best yet with the likes of Lovelytheband, Chelsea Cutler, Louis Tomlinson, Jon Bellion, AND Lizzo!!! 107.5 The River is doing big things for Nashville, and you want to be a part of it--grab your tickets ASAP babes!
