Trader Joe's Haul: Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice

It’s Fall Y'all...but the weather is feeling more like the wintry months. With temperatures in the teens, we opted to stay in one night and have a little fun. What better way to enjoy Fall, then with the best fall flavor--PUMPKIN!! We did this same PSL special last year, but we couldn’t help ourselves so we did it again. While Ash isn’t too keen on the pumpkin-y flavors, she gave in once she saw all the fun, new products that Trader Joe’s had to offer.

Look at alllllllllllllll of these goodies we found. From sweet to savory, and drinks and snacks to skin care products. Trader Joe’s actually offers so much more products, but we had to limit ourselves as our shopping basket was getting WAY to FULL.

So let’s dig in and show you all the fantastic pumpkin flavors that Trader Joe’s has to offer.

Pumpkins. Actual pumpkins, they make for the best table decor, especially when paired with warm colored flowers, a Prissy Em planter, and a Pumpkin Muffin Light Shine Candle.

Pumpkin Butter. Yum, yum, yum. We paired it with cheese and crackers to make a mini charcuterie board. We tried fig & olive crisps and gouda cheese to eat with this delicious pumpkin butter. It would also be good cooked with french toast, spread on an english muffin or mixed in with a cup of yogurt.

Pumpkin Ravioli. Okay stick with us on this one, it sounds a little funky...but don’t knock it till you try it. It still has that savory, pasta flavor with a hint of pumpkin sweetness. We pan fried the ravioli with salt and pepper, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, and kale. While skeptical at first, we really enjoyed our quick, easy dinner meal.

Pumpkin Ginger Brew. It’s a ginger beer flavored with pumpkin, that we mixed with vodka and fresh lime juice to make a seasonal Moscow mule. We struggled to get on board with this one, it was just a bit too much for us, the flavors between the ginger and the pumpkin and the lime juice didn’t work for us. After browsing online, it looked like some people nixed the lime juice in their pumpkin Moscow mule mix, or mixed it to make seasonal shandy’s or mimosas.

Pumpkin Rolls. We are suckers for some good breakfast food. This is a fun twist on the classic cinnamon rolls, and these are just as tasty with a hint of pumpkin spice in the dough and pumpkin flavored icing on top. This would be a great small breakfast treat on a cold, morning, It’s quick and easy and very tasty.

Pumpkin Cookie Mix. Pre-made cookie mixes are generally pretty average, and we prefer a homemade batch of cookies. We were pleasantly surprised by this pumpkin chocolate chunk oatmeal cookie mix. It’s a mouthful of ingredients but the chocolate and oatmeal is elevated with the slight pumpkin spice flavor. These are a fun treat to share with friends or coworkers.

Pumpkin Mini Ice Cream Cones.
Have yall tried Trader Joe’s mini ice cream cones yet?! Because you need to. They are a bite size treat, adding the perfect dose of sweetness to your life. This fun, pumpkin flavor is a delicious bite and absolutely adorable in size.

Pumpkin Face Masks. Selfcare but make it autumn-y. These pumpkin spice masks had ginger oils, orange peel, aleo, turmeric, and pumpkin seed extract. All these ingredients together gave our faces the moisture that we needed in this cold season. This is perfect for yourself or a girls night in with facials and a movie!

Pumpkin Spice Almond Beverage. Ash here: to all my non-dairy friends this is hands down AMAZING. Although I am not a big fan of pumpkin (I know, yikes) I do like to have just a smidge to get into the swing of the fall season. This is a perfect replacement to the usual almond milk I use for my coffee. This gets just the right amount of pumpkin into my system to be full of joy when the weather is dropping and Christmas lights are filling the sky.

Pumpkin Soup. Yes it is getting chilly out so why not get seasonal soup!? This is the perfect seasonal soup that can be paired with the none other than grilled cheese! This has a great tomato base with just a hint of pumpkin and butternut squash that will make your taste buds dance.

Pumpkin Shaped Pasta. As if we didn’t need more pumpkins in our life we stumbled across PUMPKIN shaped pasta, this is genius! We LOVE pasta and the shapes of pumpkin was the real reason why we purchased this. This is a great way to spice up your dish and get a small smile out of the family when you are ready to grub on a fall night.

Nic brought a few extra fun fall snack items for her family. Trader Joe’s is perfect for putting together a seasonal care package for loved ones.
